PLAY FOR YOUR CLUB IN
ENGLISH LEAGUE TWO

English League Competition

In 2009/10, a "new" PFYC game started - play for your club against your next actual rivals in the English League. All four English Leagues are available - Barnet of course play in League Two.

Barnet remained unbeaten throughout the entire 2009/10 season, and became the inaugural PFYC League Two Champions. This was noticed beyond the bounds of Underhill - see the Image Archive for the 2009/10 season.

We are now intending to defend our championship, and our unbeaten record, in 2010/11.

Overview of English League Play

The "new" game is the same as the "Classic" game, except that:
- games last all week - from Sat 8pm - Sat 8pm (or Tuesday 8pm if there is a midweek League game also)
- there is a limit of 20 shots in total per game
- the penalty applies to ALL games, not just those over a certain score
- the penalty is a double or nothing OPTION
- cumulative player statistics are NOT available.

The Tips page on this site covers the above.

The essentials of the game are exactly the same in both versions. However, as an added assistance for the English League version, see also the Video embedded below.

Subsequent seasons have their own dedicated page for the Barnet team:
2010/11 Season - League 2
2011/12 Season - League 2

And here is a video of how it should be done:

Note how each shot is aimed HIGH not low, and that shots aimed away from the centre of the goal generally score most often.

There is an archive page recording all the results of the 2009/10 season, together with end-of-season and Summer 2010 images.

Included on both the 2009/10 and 2010/11 season pages are Excel links to summaries of the results of ALL English competitions (Premier, Championship, League 1 and League 2).
