F.A. Appeal hearing adjourned

We recently reported on an unofficial website of Goole Town FC getting in trouble with the FA. An appeal was set for 6 December.

The F.A. appeal hearing relating to the charges brought against Goole AFC and Vikings Online webmaster Steve Jackson by the West Riding County F.A. was adjourned after an expression of 'concern' by the West Riding County F.A. representatives.

The West Riding officials felt they had insufficient time to properly prepare their case and claimed Goole AFC had not correctly submitted the grounds for their appeal within the allotted timeframe.

After a brief period of deliberation, the panel then issued a statement which confirmed that the hearing had been adjourned so the parties concerned may seek legal advice.

It is not yet known when the appeal hearing will be re-scheduled for.
