About The BFCSA

On this page you will find some information about the BFCSA and the rules of the Association.

Barnet Football Club Supporters' Association has proudly represented Bees supporters for over 75 years.

Our independence lets us make constructive suggestions and criticisms.

At times of crisis we have provided finance and co-ordinated supporters to ensure the survival of the club.

Historically the Supporters' Association played a major role in the day to day running of the parent club including a succesful shop, catering facilities, ground maintenance, turnstile operation and general financial assistance. These roles are now undertaken by the club.

The Supporters' Association committee organised the raising of over £2,000 for Paul Wilson's testimonial fund.

Your association has been an active member of the National Federation of Football Supporters Clubs, which co-ordinates the representation of supporters' views at a national level. The Federation has over 100 member supporters' clubs from Manchester United to Runcorn.

Despite Barnet being a relatively small club, our association takes pride in a membership which is the envy of many Federation colleagues.

Your current President Eric Herbert, co-ordinated Federation's Supporters' Accident Insurance cover for several years, serving on the Federation's National Council.

Your committee member Mark Ashfield is currently chairman of National Federation's Southern Division and represents southern clubs on Federation's National Council.

We have helped in bringing together Federation and the Football Supporters Association to present a unified supporters viewpoint at regular meetings with the Football League, the F.A. and Government.
