2004-05 Season

Play Off Details

The final is on Saturday 14 May - at 7:30 in the evening! But don't hold your breath as the times and dates for these games have changed more often than Grazioli has scored goals this season! (Maybe that's a slight exageration ;-)

But suffice it to say that I've had to update this bit again since a fortnight ago, when the Conference proudly announced that the semi-finals were going to be on the dates they had always been advertised as being on.

In fairness to the organisers they state on their website that they have moved it to avoid clashing with the general election which is taking place that day.

The semis are now due to be played on Monday 2 May and Friday 6 May. So could they make history and both rounds be played under two different governments??

The dates shown below are based on the official conference site as on 13 April 2005. The exact date has still not been announced for the final.

Cup Games

FA Trophy

We were convincingly knocked out of this in the fourth round by Carlisle United, see below for details. The dates of the forthcoming rounds have been left in for reference - these will be removed as they pass. None of the teams we are due to play on those dates remain in the competition.

GLS Cup

We were knocked out of this competition in the third round by Grays Athletic 3-0. The dates of the forthcoming rounds have been left in for reference - these will be removed as they pass.

FA Cup

We were knocked out by Bath City in the first round. The dates of the forthcoming rounds have been left in for reference - these will be removed as they pass. None of the teams we are due to play on those dates remain in the competition.

LDV Trophy

We lost 2-0 away to Bristol Rovers in the second round.

Herts Senior Cup

We were knocked out of this in the first round by Tring Athletic. The game finished 1-1 after extra time but they won 4-2 on penalties.

Previews, Reports and Photos

Reports
We started running reports from volunteers during the 2002-03 season. This was very succesful and I hope that the reporters will volunteer for another season.

If you are interested in supplying reports on either a one-off basis, or more regularly, then please see here for more information.

Match reports are also available on the Official Site, but you need to be registered to read them. I try to link to other reports from each match report. I expect that in time some of these links will become redundant.

Previews
We do previews and these should appear within a week before the game. These are done by Dazza (or Da33a as he goes on the messageboard) from the Accrington Stanley home game.

Photographs
Photographs of the games are a regular feature and have proved the most popular pages on this site. There is a PHOTOS column below from where you can identify the games with photos, and a link to that page. The photgraphs are by Chris Holland who has now become the club's official matchday photographer.

Notes and Caveats

Scores below show Barnet's goals first - regardless of home or away. All dates and times should be double checked with the Official Site, barnetfc.com. Especially the times as these are sometimes the editor's own estimate.
