  The Season So Far

Telford havn't got off to the best of starts and took six games before winning, a rather surprising 3-1 over our neighbours Stevenage on Monday. Another surprise was the 4-4 with Doncaster, so anything could happen on Saturday.

Barnet played out a 2-2 draw midweek with Margate after another draw last Saturday 0-0 with Halifax.

(Don't forget that the England friendly is on the big screen in the Durham Suite after this game - and with pints of Stella at £2.30 what better way to spend the rest of the afternoon?)

BARNET

Barnet's injury crisis shows little sign of letting up ahead of their clash with struggling Telford United at Underhill. Manager Peter Shreeves will be hoping his under-strength side can repeat the battling performance that saw them come from behind to snatch a 2-2 draw at Margate on Tuesday.

TELFORD

Telford manager Jake King will be without son Jordan for the trip to Underhill to face Barnet. King jnr serves a one-match suspension in what is likely to be United's only change to the side that earned their first win of the season at Stevenage on Monday.

Telford won the FA Trophy in 1970/71, 82/83 and 88/89.

In 1971/72 they lost to Barnet 1-0 in the semi-final played at Northampton Town. Dickie Plume scored the penalty that took the Bees to Wembley, only to lose 3-0 to Stafford Rangers.
