BARNET
Manager
Peter Shreeves will still be without defender Mark Arber
for the clash with Nuneaton Borough. Arber has missed the
last four weeks with the knee ligament injury he picked
up against Scarborough last month. Barnet are looking to
bounce back from the midweek 4-1 thrashing by Gravesend
& Northfleet.
BURTON
ALBION
Boss
Nigel Clough is sweating on the fitness of three of his
players ahead of the home clash with Hereford. Defender
Jason Kavanagh (calf), midfielder Neil Glasser
(ham-string) and striker Glen Kirkwood (eye) are
struggling to be fit, although former England man Andy
Sinton is ready to return.
CHESTER
Chester
will wait before naming their squad to face Gravesend
& Northfleet but have no fresh injury worries after
the surprise 2-1 defeat by Nuneaton. Steve Harkness will
be available after injury, while Scott Guyett is nearer
to playing after being deemed not quite fit enough for
Tuesday's match.
DAG
& RED
Manager
Garry Hill reports no fresh injury worries and hopes to
name an unchanged side for the visit of Morecambe. The
Daggers came through Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Woking
unscathed. Hill said: "We'll know more after
training, but fingers crossed it will be the same
again."
DONCASTER
Manager
Dave Penney is hopeful former Port Vale star Jon McCarthy
will be fit for the visit of Forest Green Rovers.
McCarthy has a slight hamstring injury. Penney said:
"We'll make a decision on Jon just before kick-off
but, other than that, it could well be the same
again."
FARNBOROUGH
Boss
Graham Westley will have three players back from injury
for the clash with Kettering after they came through a
reserve match on Wednesday unscathed. Tim O'Shea, Chris
Piper and Christian Lee are all available for the game,
as is Steve Watson, who has had stitches in a facial
injury.
FOREST
GREEN
Manager
Colin Addison has an injury crisis on his hands ahead of
the trip to Doncaster, with six first-teamers out of
action. Lee Russell (calf), Alex Meechan (hamstring),
Carl Heggs (shoulder), Alan McCloughlin (knee), Simon
Futcher (ankle) and Lee Pritchard (arm) have no chance of
playing.
GRAVESEND
Boss
Andy Ford will field the same team as in midweek against
Barnet when his side travel to Chester. Paul Sturgess
will miss the game with a two-match ban after his
sending-off against Northwich. Gravesend beat Barnet 4-1
and Ford will be hoping for a fourth successive win.
HALIFAX
Halifax
will give a late fitness test to forward Simon Parke
(groin strain) before naming the side to face Margate.
The Shaymen otherwise report a clean bill of health after
beating bottom club Kettering 4-0 in midweek. Boss Chris
Wilder said: "We need to work hard to keep our
standards up."
HEREFORD
Manager
Graham Turner hopes to name an unchanged side for the
trip to Burton Albion. Turner reports no fresh injury
worries from the midweek victory at Leigh RMI and is
poised to send the same side out, with only Ben Smith
(shoulder) and John Grant (broken leg) still sidelined.
KETTERING
Bottom
club Kettering hope to end their bad run when they travel
to Farnborough after a fourth successive defeat at
Halifax on Tu e s d a y. Lennie Curtis could come in for
Brad Piercewright, and Martin Matthews is available
despite being sent off at The Shay, as his suspension
will not begin until next week.
LEIGH
RMI
Strugglers
Leigh RMI have no fresh injury worries as they try to end
a run of five successive defeats when they meet
Stevenage. Boss Steve Waywell will have the same squad
available as in midweek, when they lost 2-0 to Hereford.
Midfielder Andy Heald and defender Gerry Harrison are
still out.
MARGATE
Margate
will be without two players on international duty for the
clash with Halifax Town. Terry McFlynn is with the
Northern Ireland Under-21s and John Keister is with the
Sierra Leone squad, while defender Gregg Oates has a
hamstring injury as Margate try to bounce back from a 4-1
midweek defeat by Farnborough.
MORECAMBE
Manager
Jim Harvey will be without striker Ryan Zico Black for
the trip to Dagenham & Redbridge because he is
required for Northern Ireland U21 international duty.
Robbie Talbot will also be missing as he is a long-term
absentee due to an ankle problem that required surgery
last month.
NORTHWICH
Northwich
could welcome back a trio of players for the trip to
Scarborough. Striker Gregg Blundell missed the midweek
draw at Southport but could return after a late fitness
test on his knee. Defender Andy Woodward and goalkeeper
Matthew Parry were sidelined by calf injuries and face a
race against time.
NUNEATON
Boss
Steve Burr will leave it late before deciding whether
Craig Woodley, Barry Williams and Jason Peake are fit for
the trip to Barnet. Woodley (knee) is giving great cause
for concern, while Williams (hamstring) and Peake (calf)
are also touch-and-go. Ian Clarkson is out with stitches
in his foot.
SCARBOROUGH
Colin
Cryan will go straight into the Scarborough squad for the
visit of Northwich after joining on a one-month loan from
Sheffield United to help solve Boro's injury crisis.
Mohammed Sillah will have a late fitness test on his
hamstring, while Steve Baker and Shaun Rennison have had
knee scans.
SOUTHPORT
Southport
will be without captain Steve Soley through suspension
for the clash with Woking, but can welcome back defender
Chris Lane after his ban. Midfielders Steve Jones and
Steve Pickford face fitness checks before manager Phil
Wilson can name his team against the Cards, who have not
won for 10 games.
STEVENAGE
Stevenage
have several players carrying knocks ahead of the match
at Leigh RMI following the midweek draw with Doncaster.
Boss Wayne Turner will wait for fitness tests before
naming his team, but has no suspension worries. He said:
"Our away record isn't too bad, but it won't be an
easy match."
TELFORD
Manager
Jake King rates Steve Kerrigan as "50-50" to
face Yeovil Town, but the rest of the squad are fit and
raring to go against the Conference high-flyers. Kerrigan
missed the midweek clash with Forest Green Rovers as a
result of an injury sustained against Kettering.
WOKING
Woking
hope to have forward Chris Sharpling back for the trip to
Southport after two weeks out with a knee ligament
injury, but midfielder Barry Moore is banned. Boss Geoff
Chapple said: "Our performance has much improved,
but we are under no illusions. Southport will be a very
difficult match."
YEOVIL
Leaders
Yeovil visit Telford looking to extend their unbeaten run
to 13 matches. Boss Gary Johnson reports no new injuries
following their 1-1 draw at Burton on Tuesday, although
skipper Terry Skiverton is still suspended. Yeovil's
attack will be led by Abdoulai Demba, who has scored four
times in two matches.
