BARNET
Barnet's Danny Brown and John Doolan are likely to start
away to Scarborough despite being less than 100% match
fit. They both lined up in the defeat to Farnborough
despite not being in peak condition and are set to keep
their places. Greg Heald, Wayne Purser, Frazer Toms and
Lee Flynn are at least two weeks from fitness.
BURTON ALBION
Player-manager Nigel Clough is likely to hand new signing
Lee Glover his full debut against Southport. Glover came
on at half-time in the draw against Gravesend and scored
a spectacular goal to rescue a point. Christian Moore
(chest infec-tion) will miss out again while Neil Glasser
(knee) and Paul Talbot (ankle) are doubtful.
CHESTER
Chester City will be without defender Wayne Hatswell for
their game at home to Dagenham & Redbridge. The
27-year-old, who arrived at the Deva Stadium on a free
transfer from Oxford United in May, is suf fering from
fractures to both hands and is like-ly to be sidelined
for four to six weeks.
DAG & RED
Dagenham will be without Ross Johnson (hip), Mark Smith
(calf), Steve Perkins (hamstring) and Steve McGavin
(ankle) for their game away to Chester City. Daggers
manager Garr y Hill is not expecting an easy game at the
Deva Stadium and said: "We know it will be very
hard. Chester are a good side."
DONCASTER
Doncaster are expected to travel to Margate with the same
side that played Southport. Dave Penney's league leaders
encountered no new injury problems in the goalless home
draw. Physio Barrie Windle said: "We still have
niggling injuries to Justin Jackson (ankle) and Dave
Morley (ligament and ankle), but both will travel."
FARNBOROUGH
Major changes to the Farnborough side are unlikely for
the game at home to Leigh RMI. Justin Gregory and Nathan
Bunce are in contention after making successful
come-backs from leg and neck injuries respectively in the
2-1 win at Barnet.
FOREST GREEN
Forest Green defender Matthew Coupe is expected to shake
off a knock for the trip to Nuneaton. Midfielder Gary
Owers is not quite ready to return for the Conference
basement boys as he has a thigh injury while striker
Nathan Lightbody remains sidelined with a broken leg.
GRAVESEND
Midfielder Robert Owen is likely to be the only player
missing from the team which started the 1-1 draw at
Burton on Tuesday when Gravesend host Telford United.
Owen sustained a hamstring injury and was replaced by
Simon Parker. Francis Duku, Matt Lee, Liam Hatch, Danny
Lye and Mark Bentley remain long-term casualties.
HALIFAX
Halifax Town boss Chris Wilder brings new signing Michael
Senior into his squad for the trip to Yeovil. The
21-year-old midfielder, released by Huddersfield Town, is
unlikely to start but may feature as a substitute.
Otherwise, the Shaymen will be unchanged as Steve Bushell
is still unavailable due to completing a three-match
suspension.
HEREFORD
Hereford manager Graham Turner hopes to have key striker
Paul Parry back for the trip to Stevenage. Parry has
missed the last two matches with an ankle injury. Ben
Smith is still out after dislocating his shoulder
pre-season and will spend a fortnight at Lilleshall to
boost his fitness.
KETTERING
Kettering are waiting on late fitness tests on strik-ers
Gez Murphy and Dale Watkins plus defender Garr y Hughes
ahead of the game at home to Northwich. All three were
substitut-ed in Tuesday's 3-1 defeat at Dagenham with
injuries described by player-manager Carl Shutt, who is
out himself with an ankle injury, as strains.
LEIGH RMI
Leigh RMI hope to give new signing Chris Ward his debut
away to Farnborough Town. The former Birmingham City
strik-er has arrived at Hilton Park on a two-year deal
after leaving UniBond League side Barrow. Defender Gerr y
Harrison remains sidelined for around four weeks with a
cartilage injur y sustained early in the season.
MARGATE
Margate are likely to field the same side at home to
Doncaster as in Tuesday's 5-1 triumph over Woking.
Manager Chris Kinnear still has Iain O'Connell (broken
ankle), Bill Edwards (knee), Simon Beard (foot) and
Darren Freeman (knee) injured. Striker Phil Collins has
returned to fitness and went on as a substitute at
Woking.
MORECAMBE
Morecambe are likely to field the same side as the one
which played in the midweek 3-2 defeat at Northwich when
they host Woking at Christie Park. The Shrimps are still
suffering from injuries to Jim Bentley, Robbie Talbot,
David Perkins, Nick Rogan, Gary Thompson and Michael
Knowles.
NORTHWICH
Nor thwich Victoria are likely to travel to Kettering
Town with the same side that triumphed 3-2 over Morecambe
on Wednesday. Striker David McNiven remains sidelined
after sustaining an ankle injury against Doncaster last
month. Defender Andy Woodward is also out after suffering
a calf injur y in training.
NUNEATON
Nuneaton have three players doubtful for their home clash
with bottom club Forest Green. Defenders Terry Angus and
Barry Williams missed the 1-1 midweek draw at Leigh with
hamstring injuries while midfielder Jason Peake was
sidelined by a calf problem.
SCARBOROUGH
Scarborough boss Russell Slade will wait until the last
minute before finalising his team for the home game with
Barnet. New signing Bimbo Fatokun sustained a hamstring
injury in the 2-0 win at Telford. Scott Jordan is
suspended while Neil Campbell, Jason Blunt and Steve
Baker are doubtful.
SOUTHPORT
Southport should welcome back striker Peter Thomson from
a heel injury for the clash with Burton Albion at Haig
Avenue. Fellow striker Steve Whitehall who, like Thomson,
missed the 0-0 draw with Doncaster, is still doubtful
with a groin problem. Sandgrounders manager Phil Wilson
has no other injury or suspension concerns.
STEVENAGE
Stevenage manager Wayne Turner has made Adrian Clarke,
Scott Houghton, Paul Sturgess and DJ Campbell available
for loan or transfer. Boro have had two offers from Ryman
League clubs for Campbell, 19, but the player insists he
wants to remain in the Conference. A five-figure bid from
Margate for striker Jean-Michel Sigere has been rejected.
TELFORD
Telford will be without Matthew Bloomer, Steve Palmer and
Ashley Wooliscroft for their game away to Gravesend.
Defender Bloomer, on loan from Hull City, is suffering
from a back injury sustained against Southport.
Midfielder Palmer is carrying a knee injury and defender
Wooliscroft is ruled out after pulling a thigh muscle in
training.
WOKING
Woking manager Geoff Chapple has hinted at changes ahead
of the trip to Morecambe. The Cards have suffered four
defeats in a row, all at home, and Chapple said:
"It's difficult to understand how we've gone from
being at the top of the table after our first four games
to 14th."
YEOVIL
Yeovil midfielder Michael McIndoe comes back into
con-tention for the home game against Halifax. McIndoe
missed the goalless draw with his former club Hereford
through suspension. Boss Gary Johnson said: "We will
be looking to extend our run although they had a good 0-0
draw with Chester in the week."
