Northampton 2-0 Barnet
Somewhere, round the back of the Pav...
The end of an era.

And the start of another? A couple of weeks ago I was certain I wouldn't set foot in the Hive. Now I'm not so sure.

Congratulations to...

- Curtis Weston for his 20th Barnet start.

Barnet 1-0 Wycombe Wanderers
Barnet keep their league status hopes alive in typical style.

A fitting way to say goodbye to our much-loved stadium.

I considered nicking a programme stand on the way out but thankfully thought better of it ;-)

Torquay 3-2 Barnet
The first thing I noticed when I sat down in front of the BBC was that most of the Torquay starting XI had numbers less than 12.

What a way to end our last season at Underhill. Our players seemed tired and unfit, perhaps they need to hit the gym more. I hope our club invests in good fitness equipment like some of the best rowing machines offer.

Barnet 0-2 Chesterfield
At least I won't be watching rubbish like that next season.

But what to do instead on Saturday?

Wimbledon 0-1 Barnet
Smash & Grab!
Barnet 0-0 Dagenham & Redbridge
Both teams were as bad as each other to be honest.

Ref weren't much better.

Barnet 0-0 Cheltenham Town
Congratulations to everyone who helped get that game on today. It was bloody cold!

Hope the Cheltenham fans all get home safely.

Barnet 2-0 Fleetwood
And that's why we're staying up!

Fickle, moi?

Thanks to Fleetwood for the funniest game I've seen for ages. Good luck for the rest of your season and hope you got home safely :-)

Accrington Stanley 3-2 Barnet
And that's why we're going down.

(As well as going to Harrow.) The players seemed tired, perhaps they need to invest in a high quality memory foam mattress and catch up some sleep!

Oxford United 1-0 Barnet
Barnet 4-1 Morecambe
I haven't enjoyed a game so much since...

... Southend a couple of weeks ago! I don't know what the boys were on today, perhaps some extra strong coffee from one of the very best coffee makers.

Plymouth 2-1 Barnet
Ho hum...
Barnet 2-0 Southend
That was one of those matches that makes the other 22 worth it.

Never mind the away games...

The Thirty-Four Game Hall of Pride!
We have finally got enough points to take us out of the top-five of the worst ever Barnet seasons.

And nobody is more pleased than I am. To be honest I was getting embarrassed to keep updating it as the team's perfomances over the last couple of months or so have been head & shoulders above the utter-shite we were served up with at the start of the season.

Someone asked me if I would start this off again if we go back in the top-five. I don't thinkn so, but I've got a shedload of stats that I can present if I can be bothered.

Barnet 0-0 Rochdale
At least we didn't lose.
York City 1-2 Barnet
What a splendid place York is for a weekend away.

Great pubs, restaurants, shops, big church, train service from London...

... and their football team rolls over and lets you beat them :-)

Barnet 0-0 Port Vale
That's the first time I've felt frustrated coming away with a draw against the league leaders.

Which is a good thing!
